“A noite europeia dos investigadores” – 28 September 2012 – (European researchers ‘ Night) is an event that allows scientists/researchers to share their knowledge with the public. This exchange of ideas and experiences aims to prove to the public that, after all, science is not as complicated as they imagine.
Friday 23/11/2012, the researcher group ISUS (http://isus.ufp.pt) FCT / UFP promoted a robotic demonstration at UFP. Students, from Escola Secundária da Maia (High School), divided into small groups, had the opportunity to break through a series of programming challenges, test our ISUS’s robots and and discover new projects currently under development.

ISUS team visit Boa Nova school (Leça da Palmeira) to promote a workshop of introduction to robotics
Friday 04/20/2012, the researcher group ISUS (http://isus.ufp.pt) FCT /UFP promoted a robotic workshop at the Boa Nova school in Leça da Palmeira. Students, divided into small groups, had the opportunity to break through a series of programming challenges and test our ISUS’s robots.
On last 5th of May, 2011, several researchers from ISUS went to a school at Castelo do Neiva do a demonstration and to promote a hands on session of introduction to robot programming. Students had the opportunity to actually go deep into the technical details of the robot programming.
