ISUS organized again this year an internship during a week entitled “Robótica e Second Life” (Robotics and Second Life) sponsored by “Ciência Viva” and held between 21 and 26 of July 2013 at the ISUS Lab in University Fernando Pessoa.

On this full-time event, the ISUS team interacted with a number of students from High Schools.

Students and staff had the opportunity to deal with the details of creating 3D content in the Open Simulator Virtual World, to assemble some simple robots and to program their movements and behaviour and finally to link the virtual world with the physical world of robotics using scripting and wireless communication. This year a maze was built to create a more challenging environment for the robots movements.
